NASA PR Space Grant Consortium is funded through the NASA Cooperative Agreement No. 80NSSC25M7040.  

Internships  at  NASA  Centers:         

The  students  apply  directly  to  NASA  via  internet (https://intern.nasa.gov/). The interns are selected by NASA scientists and engineers based on the needs of the Agency and the student’s qualifications. NASA PR Space Grant Consortium may then sponsor the NASA internship of the selected students. The internships can be done in summer or during the academic year, as requested by the NASA centers. The assignments and task-deliverables are defined by the NASA mentor.       

Requirements:   

• U.S. citizenship 
• Enrolled in a STEM ( science, technology, engineering and mathematics) undergraduate or graduate program in Puerto Rico (or a recent undergraduate degree obtained in Puerto Rico). 
• A minimum of 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale   
• Academic progress according to schedule 
• NASA Internship Offer Letter and Intern Acceptance Letter  

Summer Internship Stipend:  

• Graduate Students: $14,850 for 600 contact hours    
• Undergraduate Students: $12,300 for 600 contact hours
